Please join us in praying for our standing requests:
STANDING PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray for those who have recently been released from custody.
Sometimes liberty is a hard adjustment for them.
Our students give us requests when they return quizzes to us. We ask that
you join us in praying over these requests. Pray for healing for strained
relationships with family and friends as a result of their legal
difficulties. Pray for the families who have lost their main bread winner
because he is incarcerated. Pray for the family members who are sick
and/or facing other life difficulties, without the one who is in jail
being able to be there to help them. Pray for the children who have
fathers who are in jail, many of whom are now in foster care. Pray for
the people who work in the Criminal Justice System of this country. Where
there is innocence we ask for justice. Where there is guilt we beg for
mercy and forgiveness. Many of them ask that we pray for the victims of
their crimes. Many of them pray that they be given a life of holiness and
usefulness in God's kingdom. Other frequent prayer requests include our
armed forces serving in dangerous places and the leadership of our nation
and communities.
Please pray for Trisha and I; for the people who help us in our ministries
with their time and/or money, for Christian missionaries around the world,
for the inmates who have answered invitation in our services, for our
Bible Correspondence students, and most especially for our services at the
jail this next Tuesday.
