I want to say thank you for caring for people that are in jail or prisons that ya'll take the time out of ya'lls life to write us and send us lessons about God. Before I met ya'll at the CJC in Nashville, I felt like my life had no meaning. Like my life was a riddle that made no sense. I was alone and trapped in a silent universe where all I thought about was killing myself. I felt like there was no escape from the devil and the drugs. The loneliness I felt inside was filled with God because of ya'll bringing God to me in the time of hopelessness. Ya'll told me that Jesus Christ loved me no matter what despite everything wrong I've done in my past. Ya'll brought Jesus Christ into my life and I want to say thank you. And thank Love Bible studies. I want ya'll to know that I try real hard in the lessons and I learn more and more every time I do one. I want to say thank for ya'll prayers and ya'lls love and help. And thank you for letting me be part of Love Bible Studies and bringing me into a life of happiness and joy in God's family. Thank for all the information ya'll send and the letters.. That lets me know that I still have people that car for me and won't turn on me when I need them most. God bless all of ya'll and keep up the good work because yes, God will bless ya'll every day and yes, God has blessed me with a family full of love and that's God's family. Thank you for caring about us inmates that feel like it's the end of the road for us when it's not. Thank you God for bringing Bro. and Sis Carden in my life and thank you God fore blessing them and everybody with Love Bible studies. SALVATION TESTIMONIES

Before I became a Christian, I was always in to something. I did not care about anything. My attitude was do not talk to me unless I am talking to you. I always believed in God existence, but had no faith in Him. I decided to become a Christian from being around Christians, going to Bible study, listening and hearing the word being spoken about from somebody who had more wisdom than me, and from just picking up the Bible and reading myself. The Lord has made me wiser, stronger. He has put my life badck on track. He has allowed me to see the world from a different view. I believe He has made me become a more loving person.

I'm in jail looking at a lot of time. Before I became a Christian I was lonely and confused - lost. The way my life was headed, I wanted to make a change. Now I feel like I have learned so much. He has blessed me with being able to take some of His knowledge and understand it.

ANSWERS TO QUESTION: "DID THIS LESSON HELP YOU?"

It is always good to remember the principles for our walk in Christ, because each day is not easy, but by keeping our eyes on the cross, we can succeed.

I learned that I should be ready at all times, because Jesus is coming back when we least expect it.

Yes, it reiterates the need to always be a prime example of Christian behavior. It helps set the standard that all Christians should follow in order to enjoy that walk with God.

Yes, it has taught me many ways that people come at you and try to discourage your faith.


ANSWERS TO THE QUESTION, "IF AN ATHEIST ASKED YOU, 'WHY DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD', HOW WOULD YOU ANSWER?"

He lives in my heart.

By reading the Bible. It tells you all about God and what He has done.

PRAYER REQUESTS

I pray that your lessons continue. Some days it is hard to do anything. There is no quality of life here, unless it comes from out side these gates.

Revival

Take care of my family while I'm in here.
Get me out of here.

ANSWERED PRAYER

Ever since I've been here in jail, I've asked God to keep me close to His word. Every time I fall off from reading the word of God, He always puts somebody that knows about the Bible in front of me or around me, because someone always asks me to go to worship or come to Bible study. I happens everywhere I've been and I thank God for that.

My wife and I were wanting a child. We prayed. After so many miscarriages, we were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters.

When I was in the hole in 1995, I had a dream that my daughter had died. When I woke the officer told me to cuff up; there was an emergency call. I was real. My daughter was pushed out of a window and a big piece of glass went through her. I dropped to my knees that very day and gave my life to the Lord. I asked the Lord to please save my daughter. She almost bled to death and the doctor said she would never be able to have children. I asked God to heal her. Well, my prayer was answered. It is years later and my daughter has two beautiful children.

I have been praying for a closer relationship with the Lord and I have a closer relationship with Jesus Christ with this wonderful Bible study. I just want to thank you for having this Bible study and all those who really care about those souls who are in the world. You know it is people like you that really makes a difference in the world, so I thank God and I thank you for taking the time to meet my need. God bless you and your ministry.

I asked God for a change of heart. A few weeks later I found myself in a conversation speaking humble and over looking a lot of things I would have usually reacted to.

Praise God. I have finally got to speak to my daughter after almost ten years.
